F-498 Seating module

Application: ICP, hemi-, paraplegia, tetraparesis spastica, aductor tenotomy, associated scoliosis

Purpose of use: to provide permanent seating stability, to facilitate school and home activities (reading, writing, learning, watching TV, eating, manual activities). 

During the measurement process, the orthopaedic technician, physiotherapist, conductor, teacher, orthopaedic or rehabilitation specialist and the parent have the opportunity to give their opinion and help to find the most favourable version and corrected position.

The seating module can be fitted with a customised anchor strap, harness. The available other accessories (footrest, armrest, table, headrest) require a wheelchair adaptation.

The F-498 Seating Module is not a reimbursed product. An inquiry through a special request process submitted to NEAK is required. Accordingly, the co-payment (the reimbursement fee) may various amounts.
