K-363 myoelectric upper arm prosthesis
The myoelectric upper arm prosthesis consists of a forearm and an upper arm unit. The construction and function of the forearm unit corresponds with the K-252 myoelectric forearm prosthesis. The upper arm unit is combined with a mechanical or myoelectric elbow joint. GYSGY Group uses only high-tech myoelectric components manufactured by the industry leader Ottobock or ÖSSUR companies for such fittings.
Description: Myoelectric humeral prostheses are operated by muscle force current, which requires the presence of adequate muscle in the amputated limb. The movement of the hand, fingers and upon request the wrist and the elbow joint is electrically controlled by computer with built-in rechargeable batteries.The picture is an illustration.

Reimbursement fee: It can be ordered with NEAK support on an indvidually submitted special request basis only, there is no normative, basic support. For the official approval process, a medical examination and a recommendation by a specialised medical committee are required.
